Requirements and Tuition

 

DSS TL Program Length

The DSS Program in Transcendent Leadership is a three-year, cohort-based graduate program. The full-time program consists of six consecutive 16-week semesters over three years. Each semester focuses on three dimensions of leading a life of Soul Transcendence: Transcendence; Leadership; and Inquiry. The three-year doctoral program in TL is co-facilitated the full team of the TL faculty.

Following the successful completion of the three year program, students may choose to document their journey, learning, and expansion in a written Practical Treatise. Successful completion of three years of coursework, and acceptance of a written “Practical Treatise” are required to graduate with the Doctor of Spiritual Science degree in Transcendent Leadership from Peace Theological Seminary. 

(Great learning, growth, and expansion are possible through participation in the TL doctoral program and carrying out a personal inquiry, whether or not one chooses to complete a PT and earn a doctorate.)


DSS TL Gathering Requirements

Participation: In August 2023 a new cohort of around 40 students will be admitted to the global DSS in Transcendent Leadership program. This cohort begins with a two-day orientation via Zoom video conference in the middle of August, prior to the start of the first semester. 

Students carry out the program from their home communities. Throughout each semester students are engaged in an active learning community with faculty and a cohort of peers using video conferencing and our online social-learning platform, PTS Wisdom School.

A required two-day TL Gathering takes place each month via Zoom.

DSS TL Admission Requirements

Students in the DSS Program in Transcendent Leadership must meet the following pre-requisites:

  • Completion of the MSS TL Program (with master’s degree or certificate of completion)

  • Active Minister in Good Standing

  • Active Initiate

  • Active subscription to Soul Awareness Teachings (SATs)

  • Active subscription to or completion of the 12 years of Soul Awareness Discourses

  • Currently tithing

DSS TL Tuition and Fees

Tuition:

$375.00 per month (8 months per year)

Fees:

$50 application fee (non-refundable).
$90 graduation fee.

Expenses:
Expenses for the student will also include selected study materials.

DSS TL students are required to maintain subscriptions to Soul Awareness Teachings (SATs) and That Which Is. (For those still subscribed to the twelve-year Soul Awareness Discourses program, SAT and TWI subscriptions are in addition to Discourses.)
